Biography

Ms. Lubochinsky was until recently Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Paris. Her teaching experience spanned a wide variety of courses including financial markets, fixed income, derivatives and interest rates. Her recent research focussed on derivative strategies, credit spreads, credit rating agencies, financial regulation and fund management.

Ms. Lubochinsky is a member of the “Cercle des Economistes” and the European Shadow Financial Regulation Committee (ESFRC). She has been President of the European Money and Finance Forum (2006-2012), an advisor to several private sector financial institutions over the years and a consultant to the Financial Markets and Stability Department of Banque de France.

Within Europe, Ms. Lubochinsky is widely recognized as an authority in the field of financial risk management and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and for the business media. She is the author/editor of several books and a number of articles, in both French and English, on the challenges facing the global financial service sector.

Ms. Lubochinsky holds PhDs in Finance and Economics from the University of Paris (Panthéon-Sorbonne) and from the University of Orléans. She was a visiting researcher at Brown University and a summer intern at the International Monetary Fund.
