Tariq Al-Barwani – Keynote Speaker

Tariq Hilal Al Barwani is a dynamic, energetic and passionate multi-award winning technologist, practical motivational keynote speaker and the founder of largest community knowledge-sharing platform in the Sultanate (Knowledge Oman) who helps transform the lives of thousands of people and many organizations positively through projects, speaking sessions and community initiatives in the areas of Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Education, Media and Events.

Since 1995, Tariq has created projects in the form of computer programs, events, training, media entertainment programs (TV & Radio) and community initiatives in partnership with the public and government institutions that have also been also recognized locally and internationally for its contribution in the society.

Tariq Hilal Al Barwani has been internationally named by the largest software company in the world, Microsoft, as the Most Valuable Professional for 10 years consecutively since 2006. Locally, Tariq has been awarded as the Technology Man of the Year at the Oman Tech Awards 2016 event. In 2018, Tariq was recognized as the “Outstanding Entrepreneur who believes in the Spirit of Giving at the Global Giving Awards 2018” for his community engagement services.

Tariq has accepted invitations to speak for international leading companies and events that includes Microsoft, Nokia, HSBC Bank, SAP, TEDx, Dahua Technology, US Department of State, Young Owners Forum, BET Education, Maker Faire, Al Ain SME, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Education Council.
