During his tenure at Ferrero, Cardelus has led and developed the Russian and CIS operations of Ferrero, growing the operation from 150 people in 2001 to over 2,500 employees in 2010 and making the CIS market one of the top 3 most successful markets for Ferrero group.
Born in Spain but educated in USA, Arturo Maria Cardelus has worked to fuse these business and cultural influences into a singular vision that centres around emotional, positive and generous leadership. His extensive experience growing international companies, leading and nurturing thousands of employees successfully has helped him understand the human psyche and its dependence on emotional driving forces that must be cultivated.
Graduating from Harvard Business School with distinction, Arturo Maria Cardelus started his career as a Salesman at Johnson-Wax USA and later became Vice-President Latin America/Canada. He has worked as Executive Vice-President International at Estee-Lauder USA, General Director at Barilla Italy and General Director Intercontinental Division at Iberia Spain. Cardelus is currently a Consultant to Ferrero’s Managing Directors and is a President of Supervisory Board in Luxembourg School of Business.
