Best-selling author, Dr. Hannah Critchlow, sits down with us to share some brilliant points from her upcoming book, Joined-up Thinking. The critically acclaimed book “explores how we can nudge behaviours to boost intelligence and well-being for the success of ourselves but also our descendants.”

The neuroscientist, named a Top 100 UK scientist, researches the ways people can harness their cognitive resources, “making the most of the intelligence that they hold in their brain.” Hannah Critchlow covers topics from decision-making to intuition, also analysing why “IQ scores are falling across Europe.” Furthermore, navigating how our minds can work with AI, and what the future of “melding” them together looks like. 

By focusing on the power of collective intelligence, resilience and effectively treating trauma, Critchlow’s insights offer both a practical and futuristic perspective. 

She is a fellow at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge, where she was named the most “inspirational and successful women in science” for her work in science communication. Critchlow’s work makes people think, but more significantly, changes the way they think.
