Alex Corretja is a Spanish professional tennis player who competed for more than 15 years at the highest level of the sport. During his career, he won the ATP Masters in 1998 and reached a career-high world No. 2 ranking. He spent 147 weeks in the Top 10.
He won 20 ATP titles, including 17 singles and 3 doubles titles. He was also the leading player of the Spanish team that secured Spain’s first Davis Cup victory in 2000. In addition, he was a two-time finalist at Roland Garros and a bronze medallist at the Sydney Olympic Games.
Throughout his career, Alex was recognised not only for his performance but also for his character, both on and off the court. Following his retirement from professional tennis, he has worked as an advisor and coach to several top-level players.
He also served as captain of the Spanish Davis Cup team from 2012 to 2013.
Today, Alex works as a TV commentator at international tournaments, delivers tennis and padel clinics, and gives motivational talks for companies across a range of industries.
