Gérard Errera is the founder of GE International, a Corporate and Government Strategic Advisory firm.
He is Senior Advisor and Chairman of the Blackstone Group in France. He is on the Board of the Association des Arts Décoratifs and on the Conseil d’Orientation du Domaine National de Chambord.
A career diplomat, Gérard Errera was appointed by the French President “Ambassadeur de France”, a lifelong dignity, in 2008.
Gérard Errera served as Secretary General of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2007-2009), Ambassador to the United Kingdom (2002-2007), to NATO (1995-1998), to the Conference on Disarmament (1991-1995) and Director General for Political Affairs of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998-2002). He also served as Director for International Affairs at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) and Governor for France at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from 1985 until 1990.
He was a Director on the Boards of AREVA (now ORANO, the world leader in nuclear energy services), Electricité de France (EDF) and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA)
He is an Officier de la Légion d’Honneur and Commander of the Victorian Order (CVO).
