Biography

Isabelle Delannoy is a French environmental activist. She co-wrote the film Home directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and is the author of “The Symbiotic Economy” published in 2017.

Originally an agricultural engineer, Isabelle Delannoy has become an expert in sustainable development in France and developed the theory of symbiotic economy.

After working in research, regulation and lobbying for the organic food and farming industry, she has been involved in the popularisation of environmental issues.
She joined Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s agency to work on the bestselling and most popular book of aerial photography, “The Earth from the Air”.

As an author, Isabelle Delannoy is widely cited as a reference on a large variety of platforms -press, internet, cinema and television.
A sought-after expert in sustainable development, Isabelle created the first French carbon footprint observatory through her consulting agency “Green Inside”.  Isabelle Delannoy has taught Life and Earth Sciences in high school for several years.

In 2009, she co-wrote the film Home, directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
Released worldwide on June 5, 2009, Home studies the planet at the dawn of the 3rd millennium and raises awareness of the relation between humanity and Earth.

From January 2010 to June 2013, Isabelle Delannoy shared her ecological lifestyle in the French TV show “Comment ça va bien !” hosted by Stéphane Bern (France 2).

Isabelle Delannoy has been a contributor to the blog eco-echos.com since 2005 and supports the collective blog ecoloinfo.com founded by Anne-Sophie Novel.

In 2012, she founded “Do green” to promote symbiotic economy. In June 2013, Isabelle participated in the “Innovation 2030” commission set up by the former President of the French Republic François Hollande on April 19, 2013.
