With almost 30 years of experience from some of the world’s largest companies; McKinsey & Company, McDonald’s, Statoil Fuel & Retail, Alimentation Couche-Tard and Circle K, he knows the core of business and leadership. Schram strongly believes leadership is both about competence and personality. In addition, he think most leaders will benefit from working within a framework.
He is the author of The Essence of Business which explains a business framework consisting of five elements: creating results is at the core of all business activities; strategy is about mapping out a direction; execution is about making the right things happen; when working with people one must create enthusiasm and ensure the individual’s development; leadership is about simplification and communication from the boardroom to the person who works with the customer.
