Patrick Melville has worked in the marketing and media sector for 16 years. The combination of working at companies and being independent has allowed him to see to the industries from the perspective of: companies, regions, levels and disciplines. His experience includes: Media strategy/buying (over £150m), Media selling (over £500k in 2016-2017), Marketing strategy (CIM Diploma), Research (UK, EMEA, APAC, US), Media auditing, Training workshops (UK, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Paris and for companies like Google), Creative, Branding, Events, Websites, Start Ups (from Successful (fund raised £40m) to Unsuccessful (Bankrupt!)).
In August 2017, he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (Glioblastoma) and is currently undergoing treatment. This is a catalyst for him to share his story, professional and personal and how he creates his own path.
Patrick Melville has spoken at over 20 organisations, to over 500 people under The Power of Now Journey theme. Attendees range from board level to graduates. Companies include Dow Jones, Financial Times, WPP, British Gas, London Heathrow, All Souls Church and NHS (GP surgery).
