The London Speaker Bureau has been running a series of webinars over the past months. These episodes are focused on sharing advice, support, and insights to businesses on how to navigate these troubling and uncertain times.
As two major political proceedings are forthcoming, the European Council meeting (taking place as we post this article) and the US Election (happening in three weeks), the uncertainties surrounding these events are causing challenges to our society as a collective. As such we invited Philip Hammond, former Chancellor of the Exchequer to share his insights and give us a wider view on these current political events and their effects on markets and communities both nationally and internationally. The topics for discussion were UK post-Brexit, the future of the EU-UK trading relationship, and Geo-political challenges facing the world after the US Election.
This webinar was hosted by Samantha Simmonds, BBC Broadcaster.
