Emma Crosby is an experienced broadcast journalist and presented Channel 5’s flagship news programme for five years, leaving at the end of 2015.
Before 5 News, Emma co-anchored the popular breakfast show GMTV and prior to that she spent 6 years as part of Sky News’ presenting team. Whilst at Sky News, Emma anchored live coverage of the terrorist bombings of Glasgow Airport which earned her and the channel a BAFTA for best news coverage.
Emma specialises in business news. She started her career at the financial channel CNBC covering global equity, fixed income and currency markets, and broadcasted out of London and New York. Later she was Sky News’ business presenter during the 2008 international banking crisis.
Emma Crosby has worked around the world as a conference host and debate moderator working with many multinationals including, O2, BP, HSBC, ING Bank, Standard Bank, Novo Nordisk, Greene King, Morse, IOD, Serco, Vontobel Bank, Havas, Virgin, Sodexo and Zeiss. A highlight of Emma’s career was hosting a conference at the UN for International Woman’s Day on the rising problem of women with diabetes in the developing world.
