David Eades has been described as ‘one of the most familiar faces in global tv news’. Over three decades he covered many of the biggest news stories of our time, as wide-ranging as the death of Princess Diana, to the Peace Process in Northern Ireland, the launch of the Euro, Brexit, plus major sporting scandals, FIFA World Cups and Olympic Games.
As a mainstream anchor, he also created ‘Climate Critical’ – BBC World’s only show dedicated to climate issues. Now David has become a highly accomplished MC and moderator, focussing on issues around our climate and the Green Transition. He also specialises in sport; over 15 years he has built the programmes for the SportAccord Sport and Business Summit, and hosted events for governing bodies such as UEFA, the IOC, and various news organisations.
David also offers inspirational speeches on how to manage -and thrive – under pressure. A fluent French and German speaker, as well as a keen golfer and cyclist, David chairs the charity, Sport at the Service of Humanity, and is Vice President of the International Masters Games Association .
