Lee Chambers is a highly regarded business psychologist and founder of Male Allies UK and Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing. He inspires and ignites audiences with his powerful blend of storytelling, research and application.
Lee is a leading authority on male allyship and inclusive leadership, and brings together years of academic knowledge, business acumen and lived experience. His journey is engaging, from losing the ability to walk, building and selling a tech business, to three years as a stay-at-home father. Not content with standing still, he has recently built Essentialise and Male Allies UK, making a significant impact on clients and gaining global acclaim along the way.
While Lee draws his audiences in with his compelling journey, which includes life-changing illness, redundancy, growing up on a Northern estate, and being the only stay-at-home father in the room, it is the practical and actionable message that he delivers that delights his clients. He has delivered for brands across various sectors, including PwC, Oracle, Ikea, UBS, John Lewis, Barclays, Accenture, and has taken the stage at international conferences including the Bloomberg Global Equality Summit, One Young World and ChangeNOW.
His recognition for his work speaks for itself, having been awarded the UN Women Changemaker of the Year Award, the Marie Claire Future Shaper Award and having been inducted into the Black Cultural Archives. He has also been featured on the Startups 100 and received the Great British Entrepreneur Award for the businesses he has built. And if that wasn’t enough, he became the first Black British scientist to receive the National Academy of Sciences Kavli Fellowship for his work on health inequalities in its 34-year history.
He has been interviewed by Vogue, Newsweek and the Guardian, is a regular media contributor on wellbeing and inclusion subjects, and is a leading male voice on menopause in the workplace. He is the author of the Millennials Guide to Wellness and Momentum: Reboot Your Career, Unleash Your Potential.
If you are looking for an inspiring, change-making speaker who will leave audiences with lasting insight and a commitment to action, turning complex and challenging topics such as inclusive leadership and allyship into digestible, thought-provoking takeaways, Chambers may well be the presence you need on your stage.
