Biography

Naomi Schiff is a racing driver, stunt driver and key member of the Sky Sports F1 presentation team covering the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Her experience behind the wheel has enabled her to seamlessly move into Formula 1 analysis and punditry, while she is a popular host and moderator at sports and corporate events. Born in Antwerp, Belgium, Naomi grew up in South Africa and now lives in Paris. Naomi Schiff began racing at karts when aged 11 and quickly progressed to single seater, prototype and GT racing championships internationally.

Her versatility saw Naomi compete in categories including Formula Renault and the Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific during 2013 before deciding to focus on a single championship the following year. Her decision was rewarded, Naomi winning the 2014 Clio Cup China Series with seven wins from ten races. Her success earned her a 5 year contract with a race team based in Germany, competing in the KTM XBOW GT in the GT4 European series, the 24hr series and the Xbow battle.

Naomi won the 2018 KTM XBOW battle Sprint championship while in the same year she competed in the gruelling 24 Hours of Nurburgring in 2018, widely considered one of the toughest in the world. As part of an all-female driving line up Naomi Schiff finished an impressive second in class. In 2019, she was selected to compete in the inaugural W Series championship, the all female series aiming to create wider opportunities for women to develop top level international motor sport careers.

In 2020 W Series CEO Catherine Bond Muir announced that Naomi’s appointment as Diversity and Inclusion ambassador for the championship. In 2021 Naomi was a stunt driver in James Bond film No Time To Die, doubling for the character Nomi, played by actor Lashana Lynch, and filming scenes behind the wheel of a series of Aston Martins.

In February 2022, Naomi presented the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team car launch of the Mercedes W13 alongside Sky Sports F1 colleague Natalie Pinkham. The following month, she was announced as co-presenter on a new Sky Sports F1 show Any Driven Monday and also joined the 2022 Sky Sports F1 presentation team as an analyst. Her skills behind the wheel and in front of the camera have earned her a strong reputation on and off the track. Naomi, bilingual in English and French, is now one of the sport’s most prominent broadcasters and a favourite among Formula 1’s growing fanbase.
