Reggie Love was one of President Obama’s longest serving aides. He worked in The President’s inner circle being the only link between his public and private affairs.
Love initially worked with the then Senator Obama and had a unique front row seat on how he moulded a campaign with virtually no resources and orchestrated victory against all expectations. Love saw how Obama coped with the many low points of the presidential campaign and how he galvanised his closest team to never to give up and to deliver a once considered impossible dream. Love then worked alongside The President as he built a brave new administration with a strong vision for change and saw how he tackled the many great, and sometimes trivial challenges, on his way to a two-term presidency.
Love brings a unique perspective to a man who inspired a nation and who became a beacon of hope for many others around the world.
Reggie Love gave the President “a shot of youthful cool,” wrote The New York Times, which described him as “personal aide, shadow, caretaker, basketball buddy and roving diplomat.”
