Beatrice Weder di Mauro is a renowned economist who has bridged the worlds of academia, policy, and business. She holds the André Hoffmann Chair of Global Economics, climate and Nature Finance at the Geneva Graduate Institute and is a Visiting Professor at INSEAD. She also, serves as President of CEPR, the leading network of academic economists in Europe and globally.
She has held numerous policy positions throughout her career, including ten years advising the German government as a member of the German Council of Economic Experts. She regularly serves as an advisor to the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Central Bank, and the Deutsche Bundesbank, among others.
She has extensive experience as an independent director on the boards of leading global companies, including Roche, UBS, and ThyssenKrupp. Currently, she sits on the boards of Unigestion and Bosch. Her research focuses on economic and financial crises, climate and nature finance.
