The journalist and broadcaster Emmanuelle Lhoni is one of the youngest weather presenters at the BBC. Emmanuelle presents the BBC weather for the North of England, across four television stations and a network of radio stations. Before moving into weather presenting, her journalistic work was broadcast across the regional programme BBC North West Tonight, BBC Stories and the BBC World Service (BBC Africa, BBC Minute and BBC Afrique). She’s covered a range of major stories on North West Tonight including Hillsborough.
Emmanuelle Lhoni is a talented and confident event host, great with a live audience and possessing the versatility to MC a range of engagements including awards ceremonies. She is also a highly accomplished keynote and motivational speaker, able to inspire and entertain audiences across a range of subjects including diversity.
The first person in her immediate family to go to university, she studied Broadcast Journalism at one of the Russell Group universities – University of Leeds, before studying MA International Journalism at City, University of London.
