Biography

Greg Kinsey currently Partner at Argon, leading and developing the Digital Manufacturing practice before he lead the industry consulting practice at Hitachi Vantara EMEA, helping clients to envision, plan, and execute their “Industry 4.0” journeys. Rather than focusing on technology, he helps clients to accelerate use cases, innovation methodologies, employee engagement, and measurable outcomes. With over 30 years of experience in industry, technology, and consulting, he is an international thought leader, influencer and trusted advisor in the digital transformation of industry.

Greg began his career as a factory automation engineer at Goodyear. He subsequently led the manufacturing platform business at Digital Equipment Corporation. During the 1990s, he pioneered the Lean Six Sigma movement, as Operational Excellence director at both AlliedSignal (now Honeywell) and Siemens. He went on to become a business consultant and transformation leader, in senior roles at IBM, HP Consulting, and Celerant Consulting.

He is a member of the Digital Manufacturing Executive Council at DIGITALEUROPE in Brussels, and a visiting lecturer on Innovation & Design Thinking at Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) in Austria. Greg Kinsey earned his MBA at Georgetown University, and BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.

Fluent in English, French, and German, he is a dual citizen of the USA and France, residing in Paris.
