Davina Saint, originally from Wales, is a graduate of the London School of Economics and started her career in Litigation in the City of London.
Davina has worked abroad extensively, moving initially to Hong Kong to further her legal career and subsequently to South Africa to work as a management consultant in the late 90’s where she worked in heavy industry process re-engineering. Then back to work with ABN Amro Lease Products in the UK as in-house counsel; settling eventually in Ireland in the year 2000 where she began her 20-year career with BNP Paribas.
Davina Saint is a senior banking executive and dual qualified Solicitor (UK and Ireland). Experienced in the structuring and execution of complex structured finance transactions; She has extensive legal experience with 19 years as the Head of Legal and General Counsel for BNP Paribas’ operations in Ireland.
For the last two years of her career with BNP Paribas, Davina was the Head of Branch for BNP Paribas’ Securities Services business in Ireland, with oversight of depositary, custody, fund dealing and banking services for Irish clients.
Davina is both a Chartered Director and a Certified Bank Director and has built significant corporate governance and risk management experience across multiple boards and executive committees over the last decade. She was responsible for the building of the corporate governance framework for the BNP Paribas Group in Ireland with more than 30 companies in the territory.
Recently appointed by the Minister for Finance as a Director of the National Asset Management Agency where she is an independent director and sits on both the Credit and Risk Committees, Davina is also the Independent NED Chair of Business to Arts, an organisation that builds creative partnerships between arts and business and a Director of the Dublin IFSC Inner City Trust.
