Biography

Emma Sinclair is a ‘force of nature’ in the world of business and entrepreneurship, effortlessly combining a formidable professional career with sharp intellect and, her intuitive and charismatic personality. One to watch, she was recently described by Tatler magazine as a tech head who will “be running the universe one day.”

She is without doubt emerging as one of Europe’s leading business women making her a much in-demand expert speaker on entrepreneurship and innovation.

Her insightful, enlightening, and often hilarious treasure trove of corporate, entrepreneurial and life experiences make her an infectious speaker for any event. It is her ability to resonate with any small business owner as well as any FTSE 100 CEO that makes her the most popular of keynote choices.

Amongst a long list of distinctions she remains the youngest person to have floated a company on the London Stock Exchange, having done so at only 29. Most recently her ability to inspire change has led her to become UNICEF’s first Business Mentor in 2014. In her words, ‘entrepreneurship can change the world’ and it’s that personal and professional mission that drives her forward with her irresistible passion and drive.

Emma’s formative years were spent in Mergers and Acquisitions before moving into real estate and specifically, the parking industry. She founded Target Parking, a car park and facility management business in 2009, which she successfully exited in May 2014.

Emma Sinclair now leads the global software company she co-founded, EnterpriseJungle. An SAP Partner company and voted most the most innovative enterprise new software company in 2014, it helps employees find experts, knowledge and opportunities. It’s a proposition where its proprietary technology not only has the intelligence to understand the question but can also present it to the person most likely to answer it.

From banker to parking geek, and now tech queen – she is first to point out that no bio of hers would be complete without mentioning the five stars she gained at her first job at 16 at McDonalds.

A firm believer that health is too often overlooked and with a deep passion for helping others, in 2013 she also co-founded Wakeman Road, a health and well being members’ space. The unique, pioneering business hosts a collection of world leading therapists and practitioners alongside entrepreneurial niche brands handpicked and nurtured with her input.

Emma Sinclair is easily identifiable within the media world. Selected by The Telegraph in 2012 she launched a twice weekly business column in the Wonder Women section. She contributes to other papers including the Guardian on business, and the Wall Street Journal on technology, valuation and entrepreneurship. She also regularly commentates on business matters for channels including ITV, London Live and Sky News on topics ranging from business, tech and entrepreneurship to diversity, health and corporate life.
