Ravi Venkatesan is the Chairman of Bank of Baroda and Former Chairman of Microsoft India and Cummins India and a Board Member at Rockefeller Foundation. He is also a fellow benefactor and Chairman of Social Venture Partners India, a group of pioneers endeavoring to address complex social issues through altruism.
He is the creator of hit Vanquishing the Chaos-Win In India, Win Everywhere distributed 2013 by Harvard Business Review.
As Chairman of Microsoft India between 2004-11, he helped incorporate India with Microsoft’s second-biggest presence on the planet. He was the primary mind in making Microsoft India’s Project Shiksha, a PC proficiency program which has so far prepared more than 40 million school youngsters in India.
Venkatesan was beforehand the Chairman of Cummins India and drove its change into India’s driving supplier of power. He built up the Cummins College of Engineering, it is India’s first design school for ladies, in Pune.
