Shiulie Ghosh is an award-winning journalist with a career spanning more than 30 years. She has worked for some of the best known television news broadcasters in the world, including the BBC, ITV News, and Aljazeera.
She has reported from conflict and disaster zones around the globe, covering major stories including the Kosovo War, the Asian Tsunami, the Arab Spring, the capture of Osama Bin Laden and the COVID pandemic.
As a senior news anchor, Shiulie spent nearly ten years in the Middle East where she launched Al Jazeera English in 2006. The channel, based in Qatar, eventually reached more than 100 countries and 200 million homes. In 2016, she also helped launch the London bureau of the Turkish network TRT World, where she regularly hosted the evening News Hour.
Shiulie now uses her wealth of experience and knowledge to run a media communications company based in the UK. As a professional moderator and MC, she works with global organizations and businesses all over the world.
