Timo is the founder of Fanbytes, a company helping brands like Nike, Samsung and the UK Government win the hearts of Gen Z on social media.
Starting in 2017 as a student in Warwick University, Timo grew Fanbytes to a company of 75 people before being acquired by global agency Brainlabs in an 8 figure transaction.
It is an inspirational story for someone who grew up on a council house in Old Kent Road, a far cry from the heights he finds himself now.
Fanbytes marks Timo’s second acquisition, with his first being EntrepreneurXpress – a business media publication which was sold to Horizon Media at 17 years old.
Timo’s success has seen him win many awards including being the face of Forbes30u30 2021, Huffington Post’s Entrepreneur of the year and the Evening Standard describing him as “one of the most influential people in advertising”
He has shared the stage with other key industry figures including Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, Rory Sutherland and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg. As well as being a speaker, he has written extensively for publications like Adweek, Campaign Magazine, the Drum and The Guardian.
Using his experience he has given talks to a range of organisations from Goldman Sachs, and Barclays to industry-specific conferences like ADIPEC on how to engage deeply with Gen Z.
He is a key thought leader on digital transformation and how companies can reinvent themselves to be more Gen Z friendly both from an employee perspective as well as directly marketing to them.
