In addition to her professional endeavours, Aishah is deeply committed to creating positive change and empowerment. At 19, she founded Recrowned Ireland, a women’s empowerment and social justice initiative focused on educating, elevating, and empowering women through action and awareness. Through mentorship sessions, events, and fundraising initiatives, she has provided a safe and supportive space for women, raising funds to provide therapy to women and children in Ireland who have survived sexual violence. Her humanitarian efforts extend to the homeless and women in rehabilitation, ensuring they have access to essential period products and a platform to share their stories. Passionate about raising awareness on global issues, Aishah has achieved recognition by winning the Ideas Collective by STAND in 2021, offering period products for the homeless, and participating in panel discussions with international organisations. She has also lent her expertise to Suas Educational Development’s Re-Imagining Project, offering fresh perspectives as to impact the lives of people in the global south as the youngest member of the Working Group.
Looking ahead, Aishah’s aspirations are global in scope. She strives to further empower women on an international scale, aspiring to become a global ambassador for change and awareness. Her current career goal is to become a Chartered Governance Professional, leveraging her knowledge and experiences to advocate for a more just and inclusive world.
