Alan Smithson is a futurist, entrepreneur, investor and advisor working at the intersection of AI, XR and exponential technologies. He and his wife, Julie, are Co-founders of Unlimited Awesome, a global AI-powered learning platform for the intelligence age. Through the couple’s family office, 6ix Ventures, they back founders building the infrastructure of the next era across AI, robotics, biotech, quantum, education and XR.

Alan and Julie founded METAVRSE®, the world’s first metaverse company, which has delivered over 1,000 XR and AI solutions and events for Fortune 500 companies before evolving into a boutique advisory for Royal Families, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and governments navigating AI, XR, quantum, robotics, space and education technology.

Alan is the co-author of 2030: A Blueprint for Humanity’s Exponential Leap and publishes annual technology predictions exploring the technologies and trends shaping our future.
