Leo Johnson is Head of PwC’s Disruption & Innovation practice, and presenter of a number of BBC Radio 4 series including FutureProofing, Hacking Capitalism and Hacking Happiness. He explores the big ideas that will shape business and society in the years to come and considers how the world might respond.
As the co-founder of Sustainable Finance, he specialises in mapping out unexploded volcanoes – charting the collisions of megatrends that are going to create seismic disruption, with a deep dive expertise in Net Zero Innovation. Earlier in his career, Johnson joined the World Bank as a Environmental Economist before co- founding the boutique advisory firm Sustainable Finance, since acquired by PwC Group.
Leo is the Chairman of PwC’s Advisory Council and the co-author of “Turnaround Challenge: Business and the City of the Future” (OUP). He is the Founder of Unthinkable Drinkable Brent, the urban wine making collective, he is also a Visiting Business Fellow at Oxford University’s Smith School of Enterprise & the Environment.
