Virginie performed on-site analyses and mediation missions in Asia, Africa and the Balkans, ordered by various organisations such as the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Médecins Sans Frontières and UNICEF.
She often contributes to the geopolitical programme Le Dessous des Cartes broadcasted on ARTE, and is the co- author of two books based on this programme that were published in 2005 and 2007.
