French Spiderman Alain Robert climbs cliffs, mountains, gorges and skyscrapers… most often ‘without safety’. To date he has climbed more than 200 skyscrapers, including twice climbing the world’s tallest skyscraper, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, at almost 3000ft. His climbs invariably attract global publicity. He is the only celebrity who is famous in every country on earth (195). If Alain climbs anywhere in the world… say Moscow, Sydney, Jakarta, or even Reykjavik or Timbuktu, etc: the ascent will be reported in ‘all countries of the world’. If one Google.com searches Alain Robert, the search returns over HALF A ‘BILLION’ results (547 million – See Google.com – July 2026). Top Hollywood movie stars usually return around 40 million results on Google, which is just a fraction of the results for Alain Robert. Alain is also officially world ranked in the ‘Top 100 Athletes of All Time’, alongside legends; Pele, Maradona, Muhammad Ali, Jack Nicklaus, Babe Ruth, Joe Louis, Jack Dempsey and Jessie Owens, etc. In China they have erected a bronze statue to French Spiderman Alain Robert. It is situated at the foot of Mount Tianmen, Hunan Province, China. This is quite extrardinary.

A number of Alain’s climbs have attracted live audiences of 100,000 or more, on the streets. His Sapphire Mall climb in Istanbul attracted a press and media turnout of more than 400 international journalists and the climb was shown live on 4 TV stations in that region of the world. Alain is a living legend; the greatest and most exciting climber who ever lived. He is easy to work with… a charismatic ‘rock n roll’ star, who always gives 100%.
With more than 100 arrests to date, he is probably the world’s most arrested man.

In December 2023, the United Nations engaged Alain to climb the world’s tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa, Dubai, in ‘Climb to Change’, to officially open the COP28 global climate conference. In December2024,Alain was honoured, when he picked up his second Brand Laureate Award. This ceremony was held in Kuala Lumpur (His first was in 2010).

Alain is an extraordinary raconteur with countless real ‘life and near death’ stories. THE WALL – At aged 19 Alain was a brilliant up and coming French climber, frequently featuring in the French and Swiss climbing magazines. Then one day, while helping some inexperienced climbers, Alain fell. He received massive injuries and was in a coma for 5 days. His hands were shattered… and he underwent several surgeries, while in hospital for 3 months. At one point the surgeon Dr Hoele even considered amputating his hands. Dr Hoele told him he would never climb again. When Alain eventually returned home, he was so weak that he could not even lift a coffee cup. Also, he was now officially 66% disabled, and to this day suffers from vertigo and epilepsy, as a result of a fractured skull. Two weeks after returning home, and still incredibly weak, Alain found a wall near his house. The wall was 300 metres long and 3 metres high. He began visiting the wall 4 times every day. At first he could only lean against it, but after a few weeks he was able to step up onto the wall. His plan was not to climb up, but to climb across it. Each time he returned to the wall he tried to push on further and further; using chalk to mark where he had reached. It took him 2 years (3000 visits) to cross the entire wall, and in spite of his injuries, he had now made himself a better climber than ever. In a world where no climber ever achieves global fame, or makes any real money, Alain has enjoyed good fortune.

Over the years, Alain has been sponsored by many famous multi-national brands, including Zenith Watches (Switzerland), LVMH Group ‘Moet Hennesy Louis Vuitton’, Challeng’Hair, Halewood International (Dead Man’s Fingers and Lamb & Watt), Zeppelin Watches, Sheikh Khalifa, Continental Tires, Sheikh Nayhan, Sheikh Maktoum, Sheikh AI-Thani, Point-Tee and many, many others. Alain has starred in many TV documentaries worldwide. Also, he was the star (subject) of an episode of CNN’s ‘REVEALED SHOW’. It went to a world audience of 700 million people. The show features global icons. Previous subjects have included; Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Francis Ford Coppola, Silvio Berlusconi, Dolce and Gabbana. Alain has climbed several times for Columbia Pictures, dressed as Spiderman, to promote the then latest Spiderman movie release in various parts of the world. He starred in Continental Tires 2021, worldwide TV advertising campaign. His hit Netflix documentary ‘My Next Challenge’ won many international awards (Winner:Reale Film Festival, Tokyo Film Festival, New York Cinema Awards, etc.).
