Nick Ayton is an internationally recognised futurist and thought leader with over 45 years in technology and a track record of launching ten startups. His focus spans the future of humanity, advanced tech, and capital raising for deep tech ventures. He brings unique insights into cutting-edge innovations and is the creator of Futurist-in-Shorts, a YouTube channel where he shares bite-sized content on tech trends, investor interests, and advice for founders.
Nick has also authored a graphic novel, written a Sci-Fi TV series (in pre production), and a documentary series called The Biological Age. His book “Living to 150” – is due for release in November 2024, and the main works “The Biological Age” in early 2025.
He served on boards of global IT Services multinationals CaGemini, Siemens handling post merger transformations and M&S, was a pioneer of business process outsourcing, and built on the the first Bitcoin exchanges, the first inflight cabin management systems, and the most efficient Fintech savings platform in the UK.
His involvement in frontier technologies range from the latests Stem Cell Therapeutics, Advanced AI, Zero Gravity R&D, Organoid Intelligence, shape shifting Nano Materials, to Cures for Dementia, Quantum Computation and Biological Computing – was the beginning of his fascination with extending life and solving the worlds “hard problems”.
