Magda Lilia Chelly, is the Managing Director of Responsible Cyber Pte. and a co-founder of Secucial Pte. Ltd., a start-up founded by Singtel Innov8 and NUS Enterprise. Chelly is a CISO on demand for various companies, from medium size enterprises to Fortune 500 companies, where she helps the global and regional CISOs achieving their cyber security strategy effectively.
Chelly has a strong experience in cyber security as well as international and business co-operations. Throughout her career, she has been working with governments and corporations to advise on how they react to the increasing international cyber threats.
Magda Lilia Chelly also chairs the British Chamber ICT committee and was interacting with the British Trade commission and the British Minister of Digital around the national cyber security strategies and their collaboration with Singapore.
She is currently based in Singapore, with a global reach.
She launched a Professional Diploma in Cyber Security, Cloud and Internet of Things in Singapore, in collaboration with Trent Global College and she also taught at the university level at Telecom SudParis, in France.
As well as this, Chelly heads up the global cyber security education program with K2 Partnering Solutions across 19 locations in the World. Her numerous professional publications focus on human behaviour and human error impact on cyber security measures, as well as user behaviour monitoring and analytics tools. Her current research concentrates on social engineering attacks, with her latest webinar for the Information Systems Security Association - ISSA.
With her PhD in Telecommunications Engineering and her specialisation in cyber security, Magda Lilia Chelly is passionate about the human aspect in cyber security, diversity and cultural impacts on privacy and security controls. She has extensive experience of delivering cyber security advisory programmes to organisations around the world and advising Global Chief Information Security Officers of Fortune 500 companies. She is also multi-lingual, speaking English, Arabic, French, Italian and Polish.
