Carolin Roth (*1985) studied Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich, where she completed her Master’s degree. She then gained practical experience in the banking sector. In 2007, she became a senior producer and reporter in the Swiss office of CNBC International, reporting on DAX news for Focus TV online and N24 online, among others. In 2013, she moved to London to the headquarters of CNBC International and presented up to four hours of live international stock market coverage. She was also be responsible for reporting on economic and political events, such as the elections in Italy, Germany and Great Britain. She also regularly reported live to the USA for MSNBC and CNBC USA.
She has been working as conference moderator for clients from the financial and healthcare industry, research institutes and academia, focussing on Economics, Sustainable Investing, Impact Investing and Geopolitics.
