Biography
About LJ Rich
LJ Rich plays music to explain technology. An accomplished pianist, event host and broadcaster who presented on BBC Click for more than 15 years, she keynotes and hosts high-profile events on AI, creativity, trust and the future of work, combining practical technology insight with live music and good humour.
LJ has used generative AI since 2018 and has co-curated the UN’s AI for Good Global Summit since 2019, where she hosts the centre stage, moderates discussions and creates musical performances. Her transformational live shows bring together music, data and audience interaction to explore how technology is changing human behaviour, creativity and the way we work.
Her clients include the UN, BBC, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Adobe, Zendesk, SAP and Oxford Nanopore, alongside governments and organisations across financial services, technology, the public sector, education, cyber security, travel, hospitality, law and the creative industries.
LJ holds a master’s degree in Music from Oxford University and is a BAFTA voting member. A musician with synaesthesia and perfect pitch, she has been featured by The New York Times and the BBC for her experiences of seeing colour in music. Her musical works and installations have featured at SXSW and London’s Science Museum.
