Andrew McAfee is Co-founder of the MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and Co-author of the New York Times bestseller The Second Machine Age: Work, Progress, and Prosperity in a Time of Brilliant Technologies, which explores the business and social implications of the digital age and was named a finalist for the Financial Times & McKinsey Business Book of the Year Award.
McAfee’s work studies how technological progress changes business, the economy and society. He writes academic papers, a blog for the Financial Times and articles for numerous publications, including the Harvard Business Review, The Economist, The Wall St. Journal and The New York Times.
He won a Thinkers 50 Distinguished Achievement Award for his work on transforming the digital revolution into useful management insights.
