Sarah Hadland is an award-nominated actress who has numerous, notable credits across both comedy, drama and theatre.

Sarah can currently be seen in smash hit BBC comedy “Daddy Issues” as regular Rita with Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey. The show has received excellent reviews and phenomenal ratings – with The Telegraph describing it as “deft, daft and deliciously watchable.” Sarah is also currently competing in beloved BBC show “Strictly Come Dancing” – one of the highest rated shows in the UK.

Sarah is best known as Stevie in the BAFTA-nominated BBC sitcom “Miranda” and as one of the original cast members of the multi award-winning BBC series “Horrible Histories.” Sarah played the lead role of Trish in 3 series of the ITV comedy “The Job Lot” for which she was nominated for an RTS award for Best Comedy Performance.

She has appeared both as a regular and guested in numerous comedies from Monica in “Murder They Hope” (UKTV) – recently shown on BBC2, “Hang Ups” and “Ballot Monkeys” (Channel 4) to “Inside No. 9” and “W1A” (BBC). Sarah played Lucy in Showtime’s marquee drama “The Man Who Fell to Earth” and has appeared in other dramas such as “Burton and Taylor” for the BBC. Sarah has appeared in numerous films from the Bond epic “A Quantum of Solace” to improvised comedy “Confetti.” She most recently played Daryl in “Rogue Trooper,” the much-anticipated feature from Duncan.

Her theatre credits include legendary farce “Noises Off” in the West End, political drama “Admissions” at the Trafalgar Theatre, new writing “Dance Nation” at The Almeida, period drama “The Way of the World” at The Donmar and the Ayckbournian trilogy “The Norman Conquests” at Chichester. Earlier this year Sarah appeared in the new play “Broken Water” at The Arcola Theatre for which she received rave reviews.
