Gizem’s journey began at Colliers International, where she honed her expertise in developing and leasing international office projects. Armed with a double major in International Relations and Sociology Bosphorus University, she embarked on a quest to transform workspaces into hubs of innovation. Her commitment to environmentally conscious design led her to earn a master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Istanbul Technical University, where her 2009 thesis on Sustainable Buildings laid the groundwork for her impactful career. Through out her career Gizem founded 1v1y.com, one of Turkey’s largest fashion e-commerce platforms. She has held executive positions at Turkish conglomerates like Doğuş Group, Ağaoğlu Group, and global giants like Alibaba.com and Alibaba Cloud.
