In 2013, he founded ADN Group with his associate, Laurent Combalbert. Shortly after this became the first worldwide network of professional negotiators. In 2016, their life experience inspired the Franco-American television series Ransom –produced by Frank Spotnitz (X-Files). The series recounts the life and work of a crisis negotiator. Both of the French negotiators act as technical advisers for the production.
Marwan Mery is the author of several successful publications and a lecturer at HEC, Paris. He is also the chairman and chief-instructor of HCNIA, Hostage and Crisis Negotiation International Academy, an academy that trains and raises awareness in elite units around the world for a peaceful solution, to critical situation, through negotiation.
