Marwan Mery is a professional negotiator and specialist in lie detection.
He is the co-founder of the ADN Group, the first global network of professional negotiators.

Applauded by the international press as being one of the best negotiators in the world, Marwan Mery works with businesses, government organisations and NGOs, of any size, to resolve complex situations that include critical cases (kidnapping and ransom, extortion, suicidal persons, collective internment) as well as social conflict, commercial negotiation, diplomatic relations or patient-physician relations (where, for example, a patient refuses to comply with their treatment).

In 2013, Marwan Mery founded ADN Group with his associate, Laurent Combalbert, which would later become the first worldwide network of professional negotiators.

In 2016, their life experience inspired the Franco-American television series Ransom –produced by Frank Spotnitz (X-Files).
The series recounts the life and work of a crisis negotiator. Both of the French negotiators act as technical advisers for the production.
Released in 2019, The Negotiators is a cycle of 5 international documentaries, produced by CAPA Agency that trace the most important hostage taking situations of the 20th and 21st century. Marwan Mery appears as an expert-commentator throughout all five documentaries.

He is also the chairman and chief instructor of Hostage and Crisis Negotiation International Academy (HCNIA) since 2018, an academy that trains and raises awareness in elite units around the world for a peaceful solution, to critical situation, through negotiation.

Lecturer at HEC Paris, Marwan Mery is also the author of many successful publications: Rise! (2019), Negociator (2019), In the shoes of two elite negotiators (co-written with Laurent Combalbert, 2017), The 5 levers of trust (2016), How to neutralize complex profiles (2015), You are lying! (2014), Complex negotiation manual (2013).

Marwan Mery regularly appears in the International and French media (France 2, C8, LCI, la Chaîne Parlementaire, Le Point, Libération, l’Express, le Parisien, Le Figaro, France Inter, France Bleu, Europe 1, Radio Canada, CNN…) on topics related to complex negotiation, conflict resolution and lie detection.
