As a News Anchor for Germany’s international public broadcaster Deutsche Welle in Berlin, Clare has presented breaking news coverage of stories including pivotal elections in the United States and Germany, the Middle East Conflict, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Covid-19 pandemic, high-stakes conferences of world leaders, and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Clare has worked across the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Australia, as a news reporter and documentary filmmaker.
