Ludwick Marishane is a business scientist and entrepreneurial inventor. He is the MD of Headboy, which is a product-development and commercialisation agency, best known for their DryBath® product.
He has been a member of the Global Shapers Johannesburg Hub since 2017 (an initiative of the World Economic Forum); where he served in Treasury and Hub-Curator roles till 2019. He is one of the 2 global #DockersChallengers 2019 Entrepreneurs, and has co-founded a edtech company with a goal to half university dropout rates within the next 10 years.
Ludwick Marishane is a University of Cape Town graduate, with an Honours in Business Science. During his time at university, he was rated as the best student entrepreneur in the world. That same year, Google named him as one of the 12 brightest young minds in the world. All these accolades bore from his work on the DryBath Gel invention that he filed patents for before completing high school.
The global TIME Magazine named him as one of the 30 people, under 30, who are changing the world; One of only 2 Africans on the list. Forbes Africa named him as one of the Top 30 under 30 Young African Entrepreneurs, twice since he graduated university in 2012.
