Biography

Dr. Vumile Msweli is a human capital strategist, global speaker and Founder of the Hesed Africa Foundation, a Pan-African social impact organisation dedicated to empowering young people, driving sustainable community solutions and shaping Africa’s future leadership. She works with individuals and organisations to navigate career relevance, leadership and talent transformation in an age of disruption.

Through the Africa Career Summit, the Foundation convenes professionals, industry leaders, policymakers and innovators to tackle youth unemployment and accelerate career growth. Her work combines global trends with African insight, with a particular focus on people-centred leadership, reskilling, digital inclusion, human-AI collaboration and building future-ready talent.

Dr. Msweli has held senior roles with organisations including Barclays, First National Bank, Vodafone Global Enterprise and Investec, and has worked with clients including Google, Bidvest Bank and global NGOs. She is also the Founder and CEO of Hesed Consulting and has extensive board and non-executive experience.

She holds a Doctorate in Education Management and Leadership from European International University, an MBA from the University of London, and degrees in Financial Planning and Accounting Sciences. Her executive and postgraduate studies include Harvard University, New York University and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
