Biography

Yemurai Rabvukwa is a Senior Cybersecurity Associate, keynote speaker and careers strategist. With a First-Class Chemistry degree from the University of Liverpool, she took a non-traditional path into cybersecurity—an experience that now fuels her mission to redefine career success, navigate imposter syndrome and address the digital skills gap.

She facilitates conversations at the intersection of AI, technology and the future of work, engaging C-suite leaders, policymakers and industry professionals on skills, innovation and how individuals and organisations can thrive through technological change. Most recently, Yemurai interviewed the CEO of Salesforce UK & Ireland at the opening of Salesforce’s AI Centre, exploring AI, innovation and the future of work. She also interviewed Kate Alessi, Managing Director of Google UK & Ireland, about the AI Works for Britain initiative and the role AI can play in creating opportunities and supporting the UK’s future workforce.

Recognised for her impact, Yemurai is a proud recipient of the TechWomen100 Award and the University of Liverpool 2025 Alumni Award. Her work has led to collaborations and conversations with organisations including the Civil Service, Apple, Google and Salesforce, as well as an interview with Liz Kendall, Secretary of State for the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, on AI upskilling. She has also hosted the Cloud and Cyber Expo in London, been featured on BBC One Show and spoken on international stages, including the Global Cybersecurity Forum in Saudi Arabia.

Despite her achievements, Yemurai has grappled with imposter syndrome—particularly during career transitions and as she progressed into senior roles. Faced with questions like “Do I really belong here?” and
“Am I a fraud?”, she chose to confront these thoughts head-on. This journey led to the creation of her ACT Framework, designed to help individuals tame the “Imposter Monster” by acknowledging self-doubt, challenging it with evidence and taking action despite fear.

Her keynotes are known for their raw honesty and practical frameworks, exploring how AI is intensifying feelings of inadequacy and fear of being left behind, while simultaneously reshaping the future of work. Through her work, Yemurai brings a human-centred perspective to technology—helping audiences build the confidence, skills and resilience to ACT, even in the face of fear.
