Olivier Guitta is the person that can deliver that to you, day in and day out. He is a geopolitical strategist, keynote speaker and Managing Director of GlobalStrat, an international security and risk consultancy with deep regional expertise across Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Africa. With over three decades at the intersection of geopolitics, security and markets, Olivier helps leaders, investors and institutions understand the events shaping their decisions. His track record of predicting major geopolitical events in the past few years has been excellent.

His clients include sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, asset managers, Fortune 500 companies, major law firms and governments across four continents. He has briefed NATO, the United States Congress, the UK Home Office and Foreign Office, the European Commission and Parliament, and defence ministries in Sweden, Belgium and the UAE. He has addressed the parliaments of the United Kingdom, the European Union and Bosnia, and lectured at the National Defense University in Washington DC.

His analysis has also been sought in legal and regulatory contexts, including by litigation support teams on matters involving geopolitical risk. Olivier appears regularly on BBC, CNN, Sky News, CNBC, NBC, ITV and France 24, and has given more than 300 on-camera interviews across international broadcast media. His written analysis has been published in Forbes, The Times, Newsweek, Fortune, Le Monde and The Daily Beast. Born in Morocco and raised across Spain and France, Olivier was educated at the University of Cologne and ISG Paris.

He spent twelve years as a portfolio manager in the United States before pivoting into geopolitical risk consulting following the September 11 attacks, working first in Washington DC and then in Europe. He is available for broadcast commentary, podcast appearances, print interviews and keynote speaking engagements on global risk, conflict, geopolitics and their implications for markets and strategic decisions.
