Neil Edge is a Cognitive Endurance speaker, working with leaders across the UK, Europe and internationally who need to protect decision quality and maintain elite cognitive performance under continuous pressure. His work is built on The RESET Framework, a structure he developed to reduce Decision Debt, the accumulated cost of decisions made while under strain.
Neil’s approach comes from two connected worlds. In addition to speaking, he is also a mental performance coach to a number of professional triathletes competing at world championship level, and he draws directly on that work to show leaders what elite mental performance actually requires. A race and a boardroom look nothing alike, but the underlying question is the same, can a person keep making good decisions once fatigue, pressure and distraction have already taken their toll.
The RESET Framework was built out of necessity rather than theory. During two and a half years of cancer treatment, Neil continued to deliver keynotes and continued his mental performance coaching work with professional triathletes throughout, and needed a structure that worked under real physiological pressure rather than a simulated one. That structure became The RESET Framework, moving a person from recognising strain, through evaluating whether it is a genuine signal or normal friction, to stabilising, acting on it, and tracking what actually worked. The same framework now structures both his calls with professional triathletes before a race and the keynotes he delivers to leadership teams who will hopefully never face pressure of that kind themselves.
Neil speaks to senior and emerging leaders on decision quality under continuous demand, the compounding cost of leading while depleted, and what elite performers in high-pressure environments can teach leadership teams about protecting their own thinking. His keynotes include The AI-Resilient Leader, Maximising Mental Resilience, Adversity Unlocked, and Optimising Your Mind for Success, each built around a different pressure point leaders face, all grounded in the same underlying framework.
Neil speaks at corporate conferences, leadership offsites and executive development events, working with organisations who want their leaders to leave with a framework for protecting decision quality, not a one-off talk about resilience. He is based in the UK and speaks to organisations across the UK, Europe and internationally, in person and virtually.
