Biography

Paul McNeive is an inspirational and entertaining Speaker who makes an unforgettable impact on his audiences. He is a Chartered Surveyor, and was Managing Director of Hamilton Osborne King when the firm was sold to Savills for €50m euro. He started his career as a trainee in the basement of the firm and not even the loss of his legs in a fire prevented him from rising to the top position to lead 250 staff.

With a passionate and entertaining presentation style, McNeive speaks extensively with leading companies covering areas such as Sales Development, Business Development, Leadership, and Motivation, challenging the status quo and stimulating new thinking.

His autobiographical book on Business and Motivation, “Small Steps” is a bestseller in Ireland. In “Small Steps”, McNeive passes on many of the lessons in self discovery he learned in Rehabilitation Hospital following loss of his legs. He proves that “Everything is Possible”, for example becoming the first double amputee in the world to gain a helicopter pilot license. His distinctions in positivity, motivation, and goal-setting delivers a far more deliberate approach to life that can increase sales, effectiveness, and growth, both in business and in personal life.

Paul McNeive writes a weekly Opinion Column in The Irish Independent on property and business and he is interviewed regularly on television and radio. He serves on the board of The National Rehabilitation Hospital. McNeive was honoured to be invited by Major Phil Packer to be a Mentor
for the British Inspiration Trust and he is also an Ambassador for The Douglas Bader Foundation.

A stand-out feature of McNeive is his work in the entertainment industry. He has written No. 1 songs and sung on TV and radio including “The John Murray Show” and “The Business”, and has made appearances on “The Late Late Show” and “The Mario Rosenstock Show.” This experience in entertainment makes him a great after-dinner speaker, combining top level business acumen with the ability to entertain.
